hen Erika was only fourteen year of age, she felt the call of the Lord to join her family in their music ministry. At the time she was extremely involved in AWANA as a leader for a group of 11-13 year old girls. In her own words,

"I loved AWANA and the ministry I was involved with, but I also knew that God had other plans for my life. It was very hard to give up, but looking back, I have no regrets."

Since October of 2003, Erika has blossomed not only as a lead singer for the Johnson family, but she has also shown herself a very capable secretary and spokesperson for JFM (Johnson Family Music). She is without a doubt an indispensable part of the crew. We are looking forward with anticipation to what God will do through her in the years to come.
