Royalty in Disguise

(Written by the Johnson Family)

I May look to be a stranger
But I'm royalty in disguise
An ambassador of heaven
I've a mansion in the skies
You may look on me with pity,
And account me poor and lone
But my Father's King of glory,
And I'll someday share His home

(Chorus)
So don't think that I can linger
When my Sovereign's orders are
That I should go and tell of Jesus
To the lost both near and far

I am only here on business
And I represent My King
A stranger in a foreign land
Filled with pain and suffering
I may be called home any moment
For thus my Lord hath said
Those who put their trust in Jesus
Will be caught up with the dead

(Chorus 2x)
So don't think that I can linger
When my Sovereign's are
That I should go and tell of Jesus
To the lost both near and far

When my days on earth are over
And I kneel before His throne
It will be worth all the trials
Just to hear Him say, "Well Done"

It will be worth all the trials
Just to hear Him say, "Well Done"
