he oldest child from a family of six, Richard has always had a love for music. He grew up in a close-knit, nurturing church family. After committing his life to Christ at the age of nine he began a journey with his Creator that has taken many unexpected turns over the years. Married at the age of 22, Richard and his bride Kelly set out to raise their family to love and serve the Lord Jesus Christ. Little did they know that a mere six years later their world would be turned upside-down. Abandoned by their church family, Richard began an eighteen year pilgrimage as God used loneliness, depression, difficult circumstances, and those around him to reshape his view of himself, his family, and his God. Richard's musical talent sat idle as this birthing and growing process took place. After he surrendered his will completely to Christ, things began to change. His interest in music was rekindled and singing together as a family began.
